If you’re planning a wedding in Napa Valley, first of all — great choice. Napa really does have a little bit of everything: vineyards, incredible food, beautiful light, and venues that range from modern and relaxed to classic and elegant.

As a Napa Valley wedding photographer, one of the questions I get asked most is:

“Where should we even start when choosing a venue?”

So I put together this list of some of my favorite and most searched wedding venues in the Napa area. These are places couples are genuinely drawn to — When couples start looking in Napa Valley, they often end up exploring Sonoma and Healdsburg as well — the styles, landscapes, and level of luxury overlap beautifully across wine country.

Auberge du Soleil

Auberge du Soleil is one of those venues that just feels special the second you arrive. It sits up on the hillside with sweeping vineyard views and has a really intimate, almost European feel to it. Couples who choose Auberge usually care a lot about food, atmosphere, and creating a relaxed but elevated experience for their guests. It’s especially great if you’re planning something a bit more intimate and refined.

Stanly Ranch

Stanly Ranch is perfect for couples who love a modern, clean aesthetic but still want that Napa Valley setting. The spaces are open, the light is beautiful, and everything feels intentional without being overly formal. Weddings here tend to feel very design-forward, calm, and experience-focused — great for couples who want something elevated but not stuffy.

Montage Healdsburg

Montage Healdsburg feels very elevated but still relaxed — the kind of place where everything is beautifully designed, but nothing feels stiff. It’s set into the landscape with amazing views, lots of natural light, and a really calm, luxurious atmosphere. Couples who choose Montage usually care a lot about the overall experience for their guests and love the idea of turning their wedding into a full weekend retreat.

Even though it’s just outside Napa Valley, many couples consider Montage when they’re looking in the Napa and wine country area because the vibe and level of luxury are very similar.

Carneros Resort and Spa

Carneros Resort has such a relaxed, wine-country vibe while still feeling polished and well thought out. It’s a great option if you’re planning a full wedding weekend and want guests to really settle in and enjoy Napa. The vineyard views, open skies, and sunsets here are a big reason couples fall in love with this place.

Four Seasons Napa Valley

Four Seasons Napa Valley is a beautiful blend of luxury and ease. The design is clean and modern, the service is incredible, and the indoor-outdoor flow makes the whole day feel seamless. Couples who choose Four Seasons usually want a polished experience that still feels warm and welcoming — not overly formal, but definitely elevated.

Meadowood Napa Valley

Meadowood feels like a true Napa Valley retreat. It’s private, tucked into nature, and ideal for couples who want a more immersive wedding weekend. This venue works really well if you’re envisioning something timeless and elegant, with space for guests to relax, explore, and really enjoy the setting over multiple days.

Silverado Resort

Silverado is a classic Napa option and a very flexible one. With wide open lawns, mature trees, and a central location, it works for a range of wedding sizes and styles. It’s also convenient for guests staying throughout the valley, which is always something worth considering early on.

Beringer Vineyards

If you’re drawn to history and old-world charm, Beringer Vineyards is a beautiful option. The stone buildings, gardens, and vineyard setting give it that classic Napa feel people often imagine when they think of a wine-country wedding. It’s a great fit for couples who want something timeless and romantic.

Estate Yountville

Estate Yountville is right in the heart of Yountville, which makes it especially appealing for couples with a lot of out-of-town guests. Everything is walkable, the setting is elegant but approachable, and it’s easy to turn your wedding into a full Napa weekend with great food and nearby accommodations.

Tre Posti

Tre Posti has a really nice balance of modern and warm. The space is flexible, the hospitality is strong, and it works well for couples who want something that feels elevated without feeling overly formal. It’s one of those venues that adapts nicely to different design styles.

Beaulieu Garden

Beaulieu Garden is such a hidden gem if you’re drawn to something romantic and garden-forward. It feels intimate, lush, and timeless — especially in the spring and summer when everything is in bloom. This venue is a great match for couples who want their day to feel elegant but personal, with a strong connection to nature.

Solage Calistoga

Solage is a really nice option if you love clean design and a relaxed luxury vibe. It feels modern without being cold, and it works especially well for couples planning a full wedding weekend. Everything is thoughtfully designed, and the overall experience feels easy, polished, and very wine country.

V. Sattui Winery

V. Sattui is perfect for couples who want a lively, joyful atmosphere paired with vineyard views. The spaces feel charming and European-inspired, and it’s especially fun if food and guest experience are high on your priority list. Weddings here tend to feel festive and full of personality.

Domaine Carneros

Domaine Carneros is one of those venues people instantly recognize — the chateau-style building, the hilltop views, the vineyards stretching out in every direction. It feels classic and romantic, but still very Napa. Couples who choose Domaine usually love the idea of a timeless setting with a little drama and a lot of scenery. It’s especially beautiful for ceremonies with a view and golden-hour portraits.

MacArthur Place

MacArthur Place feels like a quiet garden escape right in Sonoma. It’s romantic, cozy, and full of charm, especially for couples who want their wedding to feel warm and personal rather than grand or formal. The gardens photograph beautifully, and it’s a great option for relaxed, elegant celebrations.
